Americans consume a bit more alcohol per capita (age 15 and above) than Canadians.

Toronto is the most expensive city in Canada and moves up from 82nd to 47th place (82.6). Ottawa remains the least expensive Canadian city but has climbed 32 places from 122nd to 90th (75.6).

Calgary, Canada is the 71st most expensive city in the world to live in. This is up from 98th in 2005. I suspect it is mainly due to the 30-40% rise in housing costs.

Seattle, USA only ranked 102nd.
